Friendship and Support (F&S) Training Session - 7th July

Our Friendship and Support Volunteers are essential partners in our mission to empower churches to end homelessness.

By building genuine relationships with tenants, they offer encouragement, practical support, and a listening ear when it matters most. From sharing a cup of tea and conversation to helping someone navigate everyday challenges, our volunteers provide the steady presence that helps people rebuild confidence, stability, and hope.

In this training session, we explore Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) and Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and discuss what we need to know about these topics and how best to apply it as we work with tenants.
