Local details

We opened our first home in 2017 for men in Mid Sussex that were homeless.  That quickly followed by a second home, for homeless women, which welcomed three ladies in 2018.  A third house, in Crawley, was opened in 2020 right at the beginning of the pandemic for men that were homeless.  Later in 2020 saw us open our fourth house in Burgess Hill, this time for a family.  We then expanded our team by employing our first part time ‘Empowerment Worker’ in November, and a second part time Empowerment Worker in 2022.  Our fifth house, in Crawley, opened in July 2023.  We are partnering with three different churches who provide a team of trained volunteers to offer friendship and support to our tenants.  We hope to raise enough investment to purchase a property in East Grinstead, and to continue to grow and provide supported housing - and friendship - to vulnerable men, women and children in partnerships with Churches across Mid Sussex & Crawley.
