Hope into Action Belfast Reaching into the heart of Belfast and making changes to individuals affected by homelessness. Support your local Hope into Action Belfast Today! Hope Into Action Belfast is run by Storehouse, a charity operating in the city since 2008. Storehouse understands the need to provide not only practical support, but a more holistic service, recognising the emotional and spiritual needs of those within it’s community. After years of dreaming for their own housing project, they came across Hope Into Action and recognised that their values were very much aligned with their own. Knowing that offering a house for someone who has experienced homelessness isn’t enough, they longed to provide a home. The concept of offering a wrap-around support service to meet the needs of the tenant as well as a Friendship & Support team to provide a loving community was very attractive. With that in mind, Storehouse established the Belfast franchise of Hope Into Action in 2023, opening their first two houses within the year. Over the next ten years their dream is to open 20 houses, partnering with Churches throughout Belfast that they are already in relationship with. Storehouse exists to be a transformative community that breaks down barriers and releases hope. They do this through Provision, Community & Growth. Providing the basic essentials of food, clothing and furniture to those experiencing financial difficulty. They run programmes that encourage people to step into a positive, supportive community, and they give people opportunities to develop new passions, build new skills and and contribute to society.
