Who we are

We are the local Cambridge team of the national charity, Hope into Action UK, empowering local churches across Cambridge to open homes for those experiencing homelessness in the area.

What we do

At Hope into Action, we believe the church is ideally placed to be at the forefront of addressing the need of homelessness and we partner with local churches to provide housing for those who temporarily find themselves without a home.

Our local story

The first Hope into Action home in Cambridge was opened in 2011 providing accommodation to single women in partnership with The C3 Church. Since then, we have grown to partner with 11 churches, providing 38 bed spaces in 13 homes across the Cambridge area.

Who we help

• People experiencing homelessness who need additional support
• Shared single sex independent supported accommodation for single men and women.
• Several family homes
• A Mother and Baby home in St Neots
• A worker's bursary for those in full time employment
• Tenancy’s for 18months to 2 years
• We can only accept applications for over 18's
• No local connection required
