Hope into Action Newark started in 2021 out of a desire to find safer ways of housing people post Covid. We are part of The Well Homeless Support Newark, who also run a drop in at the community cafe on Balderton Gate. We are an unusual franchise in that, although we started through the Baptist Church, we draw our volunteers from churches across Newark. We are a small team with just the one house at the moment.
